"I will never not love Carreras. It is always consistently yummy and I love trying new things when I go. The pastry (Fritelle) was absolutely decadent and my iced latte was delicious. I ordered it online and they only had an option for a hot latte, so I made a special request for an iced latte with light ice and they delivered! Love that the employee wrote a nice little note as well. Carreras is Moorpark's best, certainly check it out if you have the chance!"

"Delicious, Delicious, Delicious!!! The burger from Porta Via was the best burger I have had in possibly the past ten years!!! The meat was tender, tasty and cooked perfectly. Fries were really good (I always pop takeout fries in the the broiler for a few minutes) and they taste just like they just came out of the fryer in the restaurant. Butter lettuce, tomato slices and I added a side of avocado- all very fresh!
Plenty of ketchup on the side-in a souffle cup- not those yucky packets-much appreciated. This is now my go-to burger restaurant. Can't wait to try their other menu items. I'm sure they won't disappoint. "

We ate in the restaurant a week and a half ago and everything we ordered was fabulous!! I had the Branzino, my husband ordered the Veal Chop and our friend had the Short Ribs with mashed potatoes. Best lentil soup ever as well. Our dinners were superb! The chocolate lava cake was scrumptious, as were the Italian donuts with custard. We take out often and the Veal Medallions and Polpette Meatballs with peas are just delicious. Eat in service is outstanding and we were surrounded by obviously likewise very satisfied patrons. I can't say enough good things about the food and service at Toscanova. Ciao!!!"

"Tony's pizza bros was on my "to try" list for quite a while. The menu had a lot of appealing offerings but I was drawn to the shrimp scampi. I of course had to order their garlic roll to accompany my pasta and I lucked out when I discovered they were offering a 2 for 1 on the garlic roll. I received my order from Doordash promptly and Tony's packaged my food very carefully. The portion was the perfect size as I didn't feel ripped off, nor was I overwhelmed by the size. It was extremely flavorful (especially tantalized by the garlic). The menu allows you to remove anything not of interest to you such as olive oil, diced tomatoes, lemon juice, etc.
My garlic rolls hit the spot and the shrimp scampi was very good. I resisted the desserts but they have excellent choices.
I highly recommend Tony's pizza bros. You need to check it out!"

"Maria's is really full of itself. Very average food with mediocre ingredients and prepared on an average level. There's nothing authentically Italian about it. It's the same kind of cuisine as the Olive Garden. The prices at Maria's are ridiculous. That being said I ordered one of their sandwiches the other night because my Italian Market was closed. I wanted a sandwich on focaccia bread if you look at Maria's online menu it says it's on focaccia bread. What's really weird though, is there is a button that says choose Italian roll and they give you no option to turn it off it stays stuck even though the menu description right above that button says served on for katsia bread. The sandwich is almost $20 if you want french fries or chips or a small salad it is over $20. What I received was inexcusably below average.
