"$7 for a below mid level taco is wild. Spices are like a spice dump, you cant really tell where they're trying to go and it ends up being disgusting. Sauces are also below average so you can't even hide the taste of the tacos with the sauces. I would focus on finding a blend of spices that complement each other as a first step and them figuring out why your sauces aren't saucing after that."

"I can only recommend the Caldo de Pollo. It's one of the best that I have enjoyed for over 30+ years at this location only. "My favorite burrito is the chile relleno. I was disappointed with the look, taste, and portion. First, the burrito wasn't tightly rolled or shaped like a burrito. Instead,it was over stuffed with rice and looked sloppy. Second, the rice and whole pinto beans needed seasoning. Finally, too much bland rice and beans overpowered the chili relleno.
Although this is not a glowing review, I will return. La Pinta is a wonderful cute pink restaurant. The staff are courteous and attentive. And I tried many other dishes - great and wonderful tasting dishes. La Pinta is well worth the visit."
