"Never judge a book by its cover! Funnily enough I almost overlooked this place based on its name and branding - "Oh no, another 'healthy' restaurant that substitutes healthiness for deliciousness" I though to myself. Fortunately I was able to overcome my bias (partly due to other reviewers here) and decided to place an order. Wow! I am so glad I did. This is some top notch, expertly prepared Korean food.
The pancakes are delicious, in particular I loved the kimchi pancake. They totally nailed the spicy pork too getting it just right in terms of flavor, spice and cooking. The purple rice is also very tasty, I consider it a superior side to regular white rice. Anyway, a true hidden gem...its yummy food disguised as a healthy place ;) Honestly nothing seemed inherently unhealthy, there are certainly a good amount of vegetable in each dish too and nothing was too oily. The tteokbokki reminded me of Yupdduk (Yupgi Tteokbokki) in LA, but with a more balanced flavor that's likely to appeal to a wider range of people.

I’ve traveled all over the world, tried local street food, hole-in-the-wall spots, home-cooked meals, and just about every restaurant in California. So when I say this meal was perfect, I mean it.
