"I have ordered delivery a couple times and picked up an order really late one night. The pickup order was ready in 15 minutes; delivery took about 50 minutes to Washington. I am very pleased to see food available during late night hours. The food was hot and quite tasty. The fried fish (catfish filets, catfish nuggets, and perch) was cooked in clean oil that was fresh on all three orders. The appetizers were generous portions for the price. You get lots of fries with the combos and platters. For the price, you get a lot of food! I usually have enough leftovers for another meal. I will definitely be ordering from Da Catch again and would suggest you try it out!"

the chips and guac and red salsa were okay.
but the fried items---the stuff that should have been crispy/crunchy, wasn't. the flautas were leathery. the chimichanga was soggy, but plenty greasy. the chicken and beef in those apps was super unseasoned, if seasoned at all.
and the enchilada red/roja sauce? yikes. not bright or tangy or even saucelike at all. it was more like a thick, gloppy crust of tomato paste, oversweet, with weird pie seasonings in it.
also, speaking of weird, it's weird that you can't order a side of rice or beans with your combination dinner...but the *combination* dinner only gives you a choice of one or the other.
sorry to say that my recommendation as someone who loves all kinds of mexican food and has eaten mexican food in all kinds of restaurants everywhere from mexico to san antonio to oregon...and yes, in illinois...would be to avoid."

I got a steak Burrito Bowl. more than half of the steak was fatty or grisly. the cilantro was bad, and I had to spend more than half of my lunch hour picking it out. it was brown and slimy. there were some fresh leaves in the bowl as well, but the majority was gross. I love sour cream, but I do not generally like to have my bowl swimming in sour cream. I also, did not get the queso I paid for. on top of all this, when the driver got there to pick my order up, they didn't even have it. the driver had to call door dash to prove an order was placed. this was my 3rd try in a row with Chipotle, and each has gotten steadily worse. the first few times I had it, it was amazing. guess Ill pay extra to go to Pancheros from now on."
