I think it has herbs sprinkled on it, and that reminds me of my favorite pizza joint back home. There was a good amount of tomato and cheese, not too much, not too little. The basil is where it's lacking. when you only have a three ingredient pizza, you should get more than one or two bites per slice that have all three ingredients in it. Maybe if I ordered for pick up or dine it it would have been different, I'm not sure. But, overall a solid pizza and one of the better Margherita pizzas I've had living here."

"What a surprise! They actually have great pizza and chicken parm and pastas, after trying dozens of Italian restaurants and pizza places in Houston so glad we have found Ray's. The sauce and the cheese is very good and reminds us of back home in the north east.
The plain cheese pizza is a must. We get it with extra sauce and it was on point. Many places have poor sauce and cheese but Ray's is spot on.
The Alfredo pasta was another surprise, it was actually very good. We can't tell you how many times we have ordered Alfredo from other places and it often has little to no taste or flavor, but Ray's is actually quite good. Next time we order we want to try it on pizza and we read several reviews recommending it.
The chicken parm though was the star of the show for me. I have ordered from so many Italian restaurants in Houston searching for a decent chicken parm and it's unbelievable how hard it is to find a good one, which is strange because it's one of the easier Italian dishes to make but it's all about using the proper technique and quality ingredients. So many reviews for other places claiming good chicken parm were honestly embarrassingly poor and have no idea where those ratings are coming from. Rays chicken parm platter is excellent, probably the best one we have had so far. Tender chicken not dry or rubbery with the perfect sauce and "mootz" on top.
We also tried their meatball calzone and it was terrific. The ricotta and melted mozzarella inside was actually seasoned and the outside of the calzone had so much flavor one of the best calzones in Houston.
Overall Ray's is one of the best Italian restaurants and pizza places in Houston and we give them a 9/10 in our top 3 for Italian/pizza. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to trying some of their other pies and dishes and hoping they are consistent with their quality."

"Very disappointing, this location is terrible compared to the Pearland location. First time ordering from here and everything was so bad. Sad because we left a rave review for the Pearland spot. The chocolate pastry had barely any chocolate in it at all, for over 6 dollar you would think they would make it loaded, the other location gives you way more and tasted like we were just eating plain bread. The fruit they use here is so bad, again the other location gives the best fruit at peak flavor and ripeness, this one however had very poor fruit, all the strawberries were still green, like how does a self respecting French pastry bakery put junk like that out to customers and for the exorbitant fees they charge too? An almost 80 dollar order for a few pastries and coffee and almost all of it was not good and pathetic, the other location was always great and we ordered a few times a month but this place we will never order from again.
The only decent items were the Matcha Latte and the coffee croissant everything else we feel as though they just robbed us of our money. Most of the items had literally no taste and no flavor.
Do not recommend them at all. Go to the Pearland location instead much better quality.

"Always weary of Pizza places outside of NY/NJ calling themselves "Brooklyn or NY" pizza, but surprised for once in this case as this spot actually has decent pizza and hot subs.
They made a few mistakes on our order but the food quality and flavor was pretty good compared to 90% of all the other pizza places in Houston.
Cheesesteak was surprisingly pretty good, they actually seasoned their meat, had great flavor and decent bread. Hard to find a decent cheesesteak in this city. Only issue is that they use mozzarella for their cheese and wish they would give the option for American cheese like a proper Philly cheesesteak or at lease provolone but it was still pretty good. Also the description says onions and peppers with no options to keep or remove and we ended getting a cheesesteak with just steak and cheese which is fine because we didn't want any green peppers.
The meatball parm sub was also pretty good better than most places. The chicken cutlet was decent, not the worst and not the best, wish they didn't cut the chicken up and just gave whole cutlets like a chicken parm should be.
Chicken cutlet sandwich was decent as well but it had cheese on it which it doesn't say it does in the description also not that big a deal but not exactly what we wanted and wish they would give an option to add mayo to the sandwich, but ended up just adding it ourselves at home and it was pretty good after that.
The wings were also pretty good, the blue cheese they give with it was also good.
The pizza was pretty good, only issue is we ordered half plain and half pepperoni and we ended up getting a pie full of pepperoni, not that big a deal but we definitely wanted plain because that's how you judge a pizza spot properly is by how good their plain pizza is, anyhow it was still pretty good, especially compared to some of these horrendous pizza spots we have tried out here in H-town and we have tried almost all of them out here.
Home Slice is still oneof the best we have found in this city but this spot is not bad.
So overall we give them a 7.9/10 which is a good score for this areas when everything else is a 5-6/10 or lower. Would recommend giving them a try."

"So far, Maggiano's has not disappointed. Everything is super fresh. The Finest Fettuccine Alfredo with Parmesan-Crusted Chicken had great flavor! Loved that it was creamy and a good portion of pasta. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was more chicken. The Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms was a pleasant surprise! So good! "Very small empanadas for $6.18 each for beef nothing special they were overcooked and the dough was too thick. The cilantro sauce was good but for .30 cents each they could have at least filled up the lil cups. The guava cream cheese was ok I would have liked it blended and not just a hunk of guava up in it. Definitely not worth it will not get again. Don't waste your money the dough also didn't taste homemade like they claim maybe store bought."

"The 4 Corner Pizza® was awesome! It never fails to be great! Just 1 square is a perfect serving. It fills you up fast! Having said that, I also tried a bite of the Large Thin Crust pizza. I was disappointed maybe it is because we live a long distance away from the restaurant and the pizza had cooled, but the crust had the texture of cardboard. I think it had to be a factor of the distance / cooling, because it receives great reviews from people that have it onsite at the restaurant. The Greek Salad is gorgeous with lots of fresh veggies!
