"I'm a fan of the simple McDonald's hamburger. I also understand that it's a $3 hamburger from McDonald's. I ordered 3 with a large fry. Just had a craving. Fries were as expected. So that was nice. Salty and greasy, and deliciously as expected. The burgers, were bad. No onions on any of them, one pickle on each of them, no mustard from what I could tell on any of them, and maybe a blob of ketchup on each. I think we all expect that this food gets a bit dry and chewy under a heat lamp. But dry and chewy with minimal to none of the condiments or toppings expected, was pretty rough. Either this location didn't make them like they used to and as they're still described on the menu, or this is the new McDonalds standard to make up for their prices not increasing. Not a recommended quick cheap meal if you're thinking you know what you're in for and have any expectations."

Reading the menu can be a little intimidating if you are not familiar with the flavors or items. I was very hesitant about the Shrimp and Grits after reading the ingredients on their website, but it tasted amazing! Also, when I saw the pictures on the site, I almost did not try this restaurant. "I don’t usually hand out 5-star reviews, but San Jose Mexican Restaurant blew me away! As someone who’s pretty particular about food, I was impressed with every single item I ordered.
The Tacos Mix were flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices, and each taco felt fresh and authentic. The Ceviche was light, tangy, and packed with the freshest seafood. I’m picky about ceviche, and this one was absolutely spot on and one of the best I've ever had!
The Texas Fajita was a standout. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It was a generous portion, definitely worth the price. I also had the Quesadillas Grill, and I couldn’t get enough of the gooey cheese and grilled perfection!
Finally, the Arroz Con Pollo had a perfect mix of flavors, with moist chicken and seasoned rice that felt comforting and delicious.
This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. San Jose Mexican Restaurant has set the bar high for Mexican food in the area. I will definitely be ordering again!
