The gyro plate was the star, flavorful, well-seasoned meat complemented perfectly by the fresh accompaniments. The pita bread was an excellent addition and made the entire plate feel complete.
The pistachio cream cake deserves special recognition. Rich, creamy, and wonderfully pistachio-forward without becoming overwhelmingly sweet, it was the kind of dessert that makes you want to order another piece before finishing the first.
I also tried the Jelab, the traditional cold date-flavored drink, and it was a wonderful surprise. Its distinctive sweetness and depth of flavor paired exceptionally well with the savory gyro and provided a refreshing contrast to the meal.
