I just demolished this beauty and I’m still thinking about it. This is everything a proper Philly cheesesteak should be.
The roll is perfect — soft, slightly chewy inside with that golden, sesame-studded crust that holds up beautifully without getting soggy. Inside, you’ve got generous, juicy chopped ribeye that’s well-seasoned and cooked just right (not overdone or dry). The cheese is melted to gooey perfection, stretching and coating every bite of meat and those sweet, caramelized onions. The balance is spot-on.
The side of crispy fries was fresh and hot, and that little cup of spicy red sauce (with the peppers and all) added the perfect kick. I ended up dipping both the sandwich and the fries in it. Absolute game-changer.
Portion size is massive — this is a legit meal that’ll leave you full and happy. The whole thing looked and tasted like it came straight from a great spot in Philly (or at least a place that actually cares about doing it right).

I was ecstatic to figure out their sister location is right around the corner from my new job. This location matches the perfection I am used to. The freshest and best ingredients. A level of pride goes into their craft that you can actually taste in the end results. Standards that are increasingly hard to find in today's world. Patia tastes like fresh mango. Their herbs are of such quality their dishes will have flavor that pops in a way most folks aren't used to. Even the lunch buffet is run in such a way that there is never a giant bin of a dish getting stale waiting for someone to finish the pan. "First time ordering from Amalio's and they did not disappoint.
Large servings of both meals to get a 2nd meal. Eggplant was well breaded and cooked ( love a crispy coating). Rigatoni in vodka sauce was amazing as well.
We also got side salad and little bread rolls.
