"I was so excited after tasting my first Smashburger a couple of weeks ago. I asked for grilled onions on my cheeseburger and French Fries on the side. After my first bite I knew this would be my go to Burger Joint from that point on. The Burger was juicy and delicious--it was kind of like that greasy burger I had been hankering for for years.The grilled onions added that sweetness you crave after biting into your favorite burger. The fries were perfect...hot and crisp and just dipped in ketchup was perfect. Unfortunately my second tasting wasn't as good. The burger just didn't taste as fresh as the first tasting--the meat didn't taste as fresh and it was overcooked. The fries were okay! The first batch was hot, crispy and salted to perfection. While they were fine they just lacked the pizazz my first try had. I guess my third tasting will decide whether or not I go back for more since the third is the charm. I was so excited with my first try--perhaps things weren't as fresh--including the staff after the long 4th of July weekend., But my first burger and fries were so delicious I just can't let them go without another attempt! Maybe it was just an off day but I'm certainly looking forward to my next purchase and I will let you know the results as soon as I do. Smashburger--I still have the faith! Please don't fail me now!!!"
