• 5/3/25First time order from Bamboo Sushi. Absolutely delicious! The miso soup was so flavorful with tofu and green onions.
We ordered the Green Machine with salmon containing green beans and green onions in a delightful sauce, and the Rivers and Streams containing crab and tempura shrimp with green beans as well, both signature rolls of this restaurant. A perfect meal!!!

Sashimi Hamachi was also very disappointing in taste. We have had better sashimi hamachi. Prices are not the lowest in the area. There are definetely much better sushi restaurants in San Ramon.

• 2/4/23Never have I had dry sashimi. Flavorless sashimi. Until bamboo. The Tuna Tataki was dreadful and grey, and the King Salmon Carpaccio was narrowly saved by sauce that gave the dish the entirety of its flavor. The Sunomono Salad was underdressed, and the Chili Garlic Chicken was the only serviceable thing we ordered, while still being underseasoned and uncut.
In summary: Grocery store food at 3 times the price, in a neighborhood with much better options.

• 6/20/26Excellent food! We always order Crispy Rice Smashed Avocado, Fried Rice, Crispy Garlic Tofu. Disappointed that Green Machine is no longer a vegetarian option anymore bc we're vegan. We highly recommend this restaurant!

• 9/2/23The spicy tuna crispy rice was decent but it wasn't cut so trying to cut it in pieces to eat was really tough. It like fell apart. All of the fish just tasted overall fishy and kind of chewy and alot of the edamame had brown spots. Just feel like for the price it was not worth it at all. Safeway sushi's better
