This place was excellent. Tried it for the first time and will be ordering again. Even took photos because it looked really good when it arrived. We got the Bulgogi Japchae Rice and Belly Bop and they were both so good!

I ordered spicy pork bap and bulgogi fried rice. Bulgogi fried is just ok, over priced. Spicy pork bap is not spicy at all. They put too sugar on it. I know this place is Americanized, not authentic Korean place but these foods are not tasty.

Solid takeout breakfast food and packaging. I got the stuffed Blueberry Stuffed Crunch French Toast with million dollar bacon and eggs... it hit the spot!

We ordered Dolsot bibimbap and Bulgogi Japchae Rice. Both of them are pretty tasty and the food quality was good, but they are too sweet and salty. Not sure we will get them again.

This isn't very authentic bibimbap. It tastes like a white guy who's had bibimbap once in his life 30 years ago tried to recreate the dish at home with the ingredients he could find at an American grocery store.
First of all, the bibimbap was fully mixed in when it arrived. When you get it, it's supposed to come separated out. At minimum, the rice on the base with the meat, vegetables and egg placed on the top with a side of gochujang. Nothing is supposed to be premixed, so you can avoid sogginess and add everything to your liking.
Next, was the sauce even sesame oil and gochujang? This is probably one of the most basic things to have in a bibimbap. The sauce is key to the dish. The sauce that was mixed in wasn't spicy. It was brown and tasted more soy-saucy and had an anchovy flavor instead of gochujang flavor. You're also supposed to get some umami from sesame oil, there was none of that.
Additionally, the vegetables weren't even the traditional ones you usually find in bibimbap. There were picked red onions and bok choy, some shredded carrots. If you change too many of the traditional vegetables like spinach, bean sprouts, fernbrake, bellflower root and zucchini, the dish just doesn't taste like the dish anymore.
As a Korean, it's so hard to find authentic Korean food in the city. I was hoping this would be better. I'm disappointed and will not be ordering again.
