I am a fried chicken lover and there are different fried chickens for different moods. Gus's crispy, just enough grease and smoky spice fried chicken is one of my favorites! It always comes PIPING HOT and the beans and greens are incredible. I never eat the white bread and that mac n cheese is a delicious red light food LOL! I skip the white meat because this kind of fry is best with dark meat.

Wow! Best Chicken I ever had. 3 Piece Dark Plate, it is Crunchy, Juicy and Tasty with sides. I had potato salad, Coleslaw with 2 pieces of Bread. I am here in LA for work and I have ordered from this place, back to back days! Might have to try one more time before I leave. Oh yeah, I believe it is priced right and worth your money, you definitely get what you pay for!

My wife didnt really have an appetite tonight for anything other than chicken so Id figured why not give this place a shot! Man am i glad I did! This is my new favorite chicken spot!The 3 Piece White Plate and 3 Piece Tender Plate are so well done and juicy,and reheat so well too!The mac and cheese and beans were great too!a little on the pricier side, but worth every penny!The chicken came hot and fresh! Definitely filling!

As someone who is from the south, I suggest if you have a craving for chicken, mac and cheese or sweet tea... that skin was still crispy after a long distance delivery, the mac is made with real cheese and the sweet tea is actually sweet!!! You can get all of it here and itll taste like you are in North Carolina. When itook a bite of the Chocolate Chess Pie, it tasted just like being back at great grandmas, it's amazing! I can't wait to enjoy this place in person and to try the collard greens and fried tomatoes!
