"The combo tempura is definitely a PASS. It's pretty common to have at least two pieces of shrimp (the photo even shows two), but this came with one tiny, poorly fried shrimp. Even the veggies were scarce; seems like they went heavy on the fried onions to fill it out.
I ordered the two item bento (salmon teriyaki and california roll). The salmon was squishy and not cooked well all the way through. The sushi rice on the california roll was hard and bland, and the imitation crab seemed like it was also going bad. It had a grainy texture and a fishier taste than normal quality imitation crab from other restaurants. We had one bite and had to toss it. The bento was also missing miso soups for both orders.
I'd expect this from a fast take-out sushi joint, but for these prices, it's a hard "no" from me."

"OhmahGod...the new menu item, Shaken Filet Mignon Skillet, hit the spot!! It's at a premium price but totally would it. Not many shops are offering this meal but this place is my new favorite spot for sizzling steaks. The Banh Mi Trung Op La brought me back to nostalgia childhood moment when my family was poor in Vietnam and mom fried up some eggs for dinner and we could have as many fried eggs as we want. It's my first experience of abundance. But this meal has so many options! If I have an out of town friend comes to San Jose, I would introduce them this. (If they're ok with eating meat).
