Brisket was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The beans, potato salad, and Cord bread were all GREAT!!!! The portion(s) were all just the right amount, especially for the price! I defiantly recommend this place! Perfect Friday afternoon lunch!!!!

• 6/22/25Have been searching for a go to BBQ place in the South Bay for years and can finally say we found it. The ribs are tender, flavorful, and have a great bark and smoke. I'm not usually a fan of brisket but this place has convinced me. Beautiful smoke ring, tender, and melt in your mouth. I'm a believer. Regarding price, you get a bang for your buck and even a bit more.

• 9/1/268pc Cornbread came in varying sizes. one piece was 1/4 the size of a regular. I order these often but since under new management food now has been hit or miss. I no longer order potatoe salad, last time it tasted sour and expired.

• 3/5/26Amazing ribs and cowboy beans that arrived piping hot. If Jackie's Place hadn't sent me a raw rib I'd never have known how good Mesquite and Oak's was. They even included four containers of BBQ sauce that we didn't have to pay for (like Jackie's). Needless to say we'll be going here for our BBQ food from now on.

• 2 days agoThe Pitmaster Plate with the brisket was delicious! My family has been telling me to try Mesquite and Oak but with my schedule I could never make to the restaurant. I was happy to see it on doordash and finally tried it and it did not disappoint! The Brisket was tender and flavorful and paired so well with their barbecue sauce. The corn bread was just the right amount of sweetness and was soft and not dry at all. I will definitely be ordering again!
