Kobe taco and the chicken waffle were tasty and worth the price . Would order here again . 8 bucks for a taco is a little pricey but with how much they put in and the taste it's worth it.

• 12/14/25I have dined in here once before and didn't enjoy my meal. But I thought I would give it another try via DD. Still didn't like it much. I have had way better Quesa Birria tacos elsewhere and I didn't eat the Fish n' Chips taco due to the smell (old and fishy). There are too many options for good tacos here in Charlotte at much better prices. I don't think I will be trying Velvet Taco again.

• 11/6/25The menu is one of a kind and insanely delicious. The only item I didn't care for was the paneer taco, but everything else? Out of this world. My favorite is the Slow-Roasted Angus Brisket and my mom's go-to is the Mexi-Cali Shrimp. Special shoutout to Red curry coconut queso (GF) ** † too.

• 11/21/23The Pork Belly Banh Mi was delicious. It was everything I hoped it would be! The best part was the size of the pork belly chunks. I'd definitely order this again.
