I think this is some of the best food in the East Bay and am so happy they are also on DoorDash for days when getting out of the house is tough. I love any of pide sandwiches, the bread is so fresh and soft and the fillings are generous, well cooked, and absolutely delicious.

Today I ordered the Soup (Manti soup (Turkish dumpling with chickpeas)) and OH WOW!!
The spices balanced perfectly with the dumplings and the beans. Utter perfection on a cold day.
Came with about 1/2 pide (toasted and warm!)

I've never had Simit before so I took a chance and oh boy YES! I got five 6" pieces of fresh baked bread that made EXCELLENT toast for the weekend.
The Baklava from Simurgh is the best around. The filo is extra-thin and flakey and not baked too long like I've had from other restaurants.

Wow, the Breakfast Turkish Platter has ruined me. I wasn't in the mood for my regular breakfast options so gave this a try and omg it is delicious! Super fresh ingredients, thoughtfully prepared and arranged. If you're looking for some variety try this. It came with tea too.

The food here is really good. Bread is fresh and soft, but hold up to the sandwich ingredients. Flavors are layered and balanced. Rich labneh, smoky slightly spicy ajvar and quality, fresh ingredients create delicious combos. Event the sumac dressing for the side salads is balanced and lovely.
