The cupcakes were very sweet, a bit too sweet to me personally but they were still good. The texture was good and they looked Insta ready beautiful! My personal rating is as follows: Arizona Strawberry Shortcake 3/5, Carrot Pecan Signature 4/5, Scarlett O'Hara Signature 5/5. The Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie is a 5/5, very chocolatey and not overly sweet.

We absolutely will continue to order from Velvet Buttercream. By far some of the best cupcakes we've ever had. The cream cheese frosting is beyond amazing. Please bring back the chocolate chip cookie batter frosting please!!!

The Lemon Macaron and Raspberry Macaron tasted terrible and barely sweet I was very disappointed and dissatisfied especially with the cost of the macarons they shouldn't be as small and as bland tasting as they are, in my opinion it was not worth it. Just go to walmart

I've been ordering from The Velvet Buttercream since before it had a storefront and the quality and flavours have never once disappointed me - this is by far my favourite bakery in phoenix. Everything is delectably rich without feeling overwhelming, just remember your eyes are always a bit bigger than your stomach lol
The creme brulee is one of my new favourite treats, always perfectly creamy with a toasty sweet crunchy top... the brownies are THE BEST, be sure to eat them when theyre fresh ! Fudgey and soft and not cloyingly sweet... perfect. If you need a custom cake check out the menu of customizable flavours, and they'll decorate it in such a way you won't be able to help but take pictures - be aure to let everything reach room temp for the true "velvet" buttercream experience. I'm not usually a macaron fan, but I can't help trying a new flavour every time I go in because they're just so good here ! Even the breads are out of this world delicious... herby and perfectly salty and soft, great to warm up n spread a little butter on. Every dog I've ever bought a biscuit for from there has given their approval too ! Don't pass this place up, having it on doordash is dangerous for my wallet but oh so good for my soul !! The cupcake was a bit overwhelming for me, but if you're a true sugar lover it would probably be a great option. The Peanut Butter Oat Cookie was just right in my opinion. The items were fresh, nice portion for the price and I would order from them again .
