The Poncho Villa has been a go-to for over 20 years, since I lived across the street from the Tempe location. The red sauce is so tasty! Combo #9 tacos hit, with one beef and one chicken. I alway order a SM Chips and Hot Sauce Combo to stretch the rice and beans into a third, sometimes fourth, meal. My only wish is that Horchata was a delivery option. Yum!

Portion sizes are quite large, so definitely good value for what you get. I received The Original Taco Salad nearly cold, so I was disappointed in the flavor and quality due to sogginess of lettuce. The Shredded Chicken Quesadilla was perfect though.

Beef taco had good favor and was not greasy but was kind of small.The combo was very filling. The chicken enchiladas had good flavor but the sauce was only one notch above El Monterey. The rice was not dry and the beans did not taste overly of lard and of being burned. It was very good but ordinary.

Shredded beef tacos did not have any flavor. Ground Beef No Potato Tacos had potatoes and the shells cracked into two.
