This place was a favorite of mine some years back, and honestly, it's nice to see that their food is still as good as it was back then, including their cheese curds! And their concretes are great, too! =) All in all, 5/5 stars. =D

Hit the spot! Spend the extra $0.99 on the cheddar sauce for your fries, 100% worth it. The crinkle cut fries are great on their but that cheese sauce takes it to another level! Great portion sizes too.

I know they are known for their butter burgers, but I wanted something different, and I regret it. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and it was like rubber. I also got mashed potatoes with gravy as a side and those were worse than cafeteria or hospital grade. My lucky charms concrete mixer was delicious but was only half full when it arrived.

The portion sizes are really good here. And the fish was fried really well. My only issue was the lack of seasoning on the fish. Like it literally tasted like nothing on its own.

Northwoods Walleye tastes just like that which I had as a kid. I didn't know I missed it. They have a great batter; just the right balance of this great fish. Watch out for the bones; Walleye will always have at least one. I am ordering this again.
