Ribs and Smothered Chicken were tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. One of thee best to make fried corn and rutabagas-cooked to perfection, and some good ol sweet cornbread.

I order several times a month because I love pork chops. Unfortunately, today's batch tastes as if it were on the verge of spoiling. I return because there aren't many choices for soul food in this area, and the Happy Hour promotion is a good deal and saves me money; however, far too often the food quality and taste are inconsistent. Each order tastes like someone different prepared the food. Today, the macaroni was actually hot, and the portion was large, but the cheese was curdled in sporadic bits, chunks, and pieces throughout. In all, the $30.00 meal was inedible.

the ribs are tough and taste like liter fluid....the banana pudding had 5 cookies whipped cream and a bunch of watery pudding....the yams was sweet but it looked like a bunch of slop, the greens needed more flavor...the pork chop should've been cooked longer...I highly dont recommend this place the lemonade was actually good ...wasn't enough they gave me a cup full of ice

I am not sure what was up with the food today but the Hamburger Steak with Grilled Onions was season less well the rice and gravy that is. I didn't know it came with 1 piece of meat. Whatever gravy you use for the Hamburger Steak with Grilled Onions should be for the gravy on the rice. Today was tropical punch Kool - Aid 32 ounce which I can't drink. Oh the Mac they could have kept. I don't even know how to make mac n Big Mama's Mac & Cheese but I never had any complaints. So that was a waste of money. Went next door thought I was about to eat my problems away but the German chocolate cake was dry. I haven't eaten the other desserts. Disappointed today....Pics not attached because my grandson dropped my tray everything was upside down and not photo pretty
