It's a shame that a store named "Yay Beignets" to have their Beignet made so poorly. While their portion sizes are quite large and very inviting, all of them tasted burnt and had an unpleasant savory aftertaste.

That was really bad. Shrimp was not fresh and looks nothing like the picture. The "remoulade" was NOT even close to authentic. Awful. Not tangy. Tasted like hot sauce and mayo. Sandwich was thrown into a styrofoam box so it was all broken up. They should wrap it in foil. I've had so many po boys and this was not good. $25 mistake.

Ethiopian Coffee was great. Cajun Fish and Grits were okay, but felt the fish even tho fine inside it was almost burnt on the outside. The grits lacked flavor. I believe the Cajun Fish PO'Boy was good and thought it came with fries but that was not the case. Beignet were not as great as the last time I had them since they were just in a brown paper bag. Overall, I would still shop this restaurant.

Cajun biscuit was really small for the price. Beignets we're great!
