As a Malagasy living in the U.S., finding food that even remotely reminds me of home has been nearly impossible—until I ate at Zola Cultural Kitchen.
The flavors took me back. The rice, the fish, the seasoning—it all felt familiar in the best way. We ordered the fufu with red pepper soup and the Crazy Rice Supreme. Both were full of bold flavor, generous portions, and cooked with real care. It was the first time in a long time that a meal reminded me of my mom’s cooking.
My only critique is the location. It’s a far drive, but once you’re there, it’s absolutely worth it.

It was alright definitely an interesting taste, but I couldn't get past the spell, and the fufu was a little too sticky. However it was a good portion for the price I just couldn't continue eating it after the first bite (the fish taste was overpowering) it did seem fresh I just wouldn't order again.

Chicken wings have no sauce and were over cooked . The plantains are undercooked and the rice was bland

I have Fufu / Pounded Yams & Egusi Soup many times before but this place was not good unfortunately. it tasted way more gamey than usual. but the Roasted Meat was AMAZING!! a little salty but I would order that again!
