Kilwins Ice Cream uses only fresh antibiotic-free, rbST-free milk and cream from family farms. Our Ice Cream falls into the “Super Premium” category. It has a very creamy consistency due to the fact the recipe contains 14% butterfat. We store it at -20°, which results in very tiny ice crystals. It is a “low overrun” ice cream because we incorporate less air in the product during production, leading to a heavier, denser texture. Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream is a high quality, rich and indulgent treat!
The perfect caramel apple starts with a fresh & crisp granny smith apple, hand-dipped in our made-in-store caramel. Our caramel is still cooked in a traditional copper kettle, a three-hour process that results in a smooth & creamy caramel, for that "Perfect" caramel apple, a customer favorite for 70 years!
Our creamy Mackinac Island Fudge is made from Don & Katy Kilwin’s original recipes, first crafted on a marble table in 1948. Our handcrafted caramel corn & brittle are made fresh for you in traditional copper kettles. Try our signature nutcracker sweets, combining popped corn, almonds, pecans, and caramel for that perfect sweet and nutty taste sensation. For our handcrafted brittle, we use only the finest nuts available and combine them with our kitchen-made brittle with just the right amount of saltiness for that perfect salty & sweet flavor combination.
