I feel SOOOO lucky that Xian Famous Foods is in Alexandria! Please stay! Everything was so delicious: meaty dumplings, excellent, tasty, tender lamb. I will be ordering ALL THE TIME. Also, such value for the price!

Very good value. We spent about $30 and had enough for 4 meals. The [N6] Wok-Tossed Spicy Concubine's Chicken Hand-Ripped Noodles were great. [F4] Spicy & Sour Lamb Dumplings (7) dumplings were excellent.
Anything with noodles and you can't go wrong.

Used to eat at my neighborhood location in NYC regularly. Glad that there is a location in the DMV! The [F6] Spicy & Sour Spinach Dumplings (7) were flavorful and filling. The spicy chili oil served with them was the perfect compliment. The [N1] Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles were perfectly spicy and absolutely delicious. The portions of both items were generous. Oh, and the Chrysanthemum Tea was light and refreshing. Perfect meal! Will be coming back for more!

This food is addictive. The noodles are nice and chewy, the sauces flavorful and delicious, the veggies fresh and crisp. Portion sizes are huge, I now order one thing to share/end up with plenty of tasty leftovers, which is great. [F8] Spicy & Sour Pork & Cabbage Dumplings (7) are amazing, and have lots of extra sauce.[N9] Pork "Zha Jiang" Hand-Ripped Noodles are a favorite, too -- love the spiciness.

It's delicious! While not the same as NYC, the familiar smells and taste is what I looked for in the meal. The lamb hand pulled portion was okay, but the NS2 beef hand pulled noodles was a large portion that was hot upon arrival! Pork dumplings were fantastic, although the skin was very thick and almost too chewy. Would like to order again for more spicy meals that feed the soul!
