One of my favorite dishes from them. Beef is tender and noodles are soft. Everything taste fresh. DoorDash delivery on this item is quicker than the others. Portion size perfect. If I don't get this I usually get the duck with rice. Will definitely order from them again. Yum!

I ordered takeout from here in early August, selecting the Braised Beef Soup with Rice Noodles along with an order of Beef Skewers. While the food arrived within the expected window, the presentation was immediately compromised by flimsy packaging. The containers offered poor insulation and allowed grease and liquid to leak into the bag, leaving the noodles and soup lukewarm upon arrival.
The main disappointment was the quality of the braised beef broth. It was noticeably thin, watery, and lacked the aromatic depth and rich, slow-simmered savory notes that typically define Hunan-style beef noodles. Even though the portion of rice noodles and beef slices was adequate, the weak and bland broth diminished the overall dish.
The Beef Skewers were the lone bright spot, offering tender meat and a nice crust of cumin and chili seasoning. However, paying nearly $40 after taxes and delivery fees for an order centered around a lackluster noodle soup and poor packaging makes it a disappointing value. Substantial improvements to broth richness and sturdier takeout packaging are needed to make this worth ordering again.

Have become a big fan of this eatery. Their Spicy Pepper Chicken 椒麻鸡, roasted duck and poached / roasted chicken are to die for. I loved the freshly made bok choy as well. Portion size is reasonable. Coming back to ordering from here !

Overall, the food was decent, but I think their signature Roast Duck Rice Noodles are still much better than the Empress Chicken Rice Noodles.
The Empress Chicken over Rice Noodles/贵妃鸡粉 came with a lot of chicken breast, which I found a bit dry and mushy. The chicken thigh pieces had a better texture, but the chicken overall could have been more flavorful and better marinated.
The Dry‑Pot Pork Intestines 干锅肥肠 and Hunan Stinky Tofu 湖南臭豆腐 were both pretty good! The intestines were sliced a little too thin for my preference, as I personally enjoy thicker, meatier pieces.
The stinky tofu had the right seasoning and flavor profile, but I wish it had a stronger fermented aroma and had been fried a little longer for a drier, crispier exterior.

Their duck mifen was excellent so I want to try out other dishes. So this time I ordered Beef chow fun/干炒牛河 . Portion was big but the color of the chow fun is very light, meaning they didn't put enough soy sauce in it, and it's also very dry, probably not enough oil as well. However it is more salty than the ones I had from other restaurants. beef was also dried and mushy. won't order this again.
