• 9/9/23my favorite indian restaurant in Fairfield-Forest Park area! All dishes consistently good with good portions. Naan always fresh baked. Raita fresh & flavorful, not runny, and a generous helping (ie not a tiny condiment cupful). Excellent Mango Lassi too. Swad Indian restaurant never disappoints!

• 10/13/25Chicken tikka masala tasted watered down. Rice tasted like it had been warmed in the microwave. Smaller portion than similar restaurants. I recommend closing earlier if you're not willing to make fresh food.

• 6/9/23This is the first tasteless and bland Indian food that I have ever eaten. I have had Goat Biryani from other restaurants. This one had no salt or spices. I only gave two stars because it had lots of goat meat. I had to use my own tomato sauce to eat it.

• 1/21/26Super disappointing. The most bland Indian I have ever tried. It was sper sweet and I got a basic Chicken Tikka Masala. The Chapati (Roti) was AWFUL. The portion sizes are worse than others and I ordered extra Rice and you could see where they halved the normal portion from the container. There was also the least amount of chicken iv seen in a dish ever!!! will NEVER order from here again.

• 8/20/24The Saag Mushroom is good, would be better if the mushrooms were cut or sliced vs a few being dumped in straight from a can. The Garlic Naan is a very mild garlic vs most other places. The Chicken Tikka Masala has options for levels of spice/heat to choose from. I ordered mine spicy, but it was at a zero spice level upon taste. The portions are good. The attention to detail is where Swad fell short IMO.
