I have to say that years ago there was a place called Ramirez that was so good. 5 Star Chili has that same quality. A REAL hot dog that fills the bun, a good tasting chilli, good fries. It was great!!!! A hot dog that fits the bill.

You can't explain the pop or the crunch of a well made hot dog untill you've had this , only in Chicago have I had a well made beef dog like this it's a beautiful thing and that's why I keep coming back people this is perfection nuff said

The hotdogs themselves are far better quality than wimpy Skyline or Gold Star weenies, and delicious to boot. The cheese is fresh and plentiful, and the chili is a tasty recipe that lacks the nutmeg or cinnamon flavor the big name competitors have. The owner even called me directly because he realized I made a mistake on my order and made it right without blinking twice. Will gladly order here again!

5 star chili is way better than skyline in my eyes. They have huge portions, lots of cheese, and the food is always fresh. I will be ordering again
