🍵 Maruwu Seicha Review 🍓
We tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte, Matcha Latte + Snow Top, Matcha Tart, Hokkaido Tart, and Spam Musubi!
Drinks 🧋
🍓 Strawberry Matcha Latte – We chose half sugar, and the sweetness was just right! The matcha flavor wasn’t too overwhelming. If you prefer a stronger matcha taste, you can always ask for extra matcha.
🍵 Matcha Latte + Snow Top – Also a good choice if you enjoy matcha with a creamy topping. Half sugar is a good option if you don’t want your drink to be overly sweet.
Tarts 🥧
🍵 Matcha Tart – Best enjoyed chilled! The texture is much better when cold; otherwise, it can taste a little soggy. The matcha flavor was also a bit too overpowering for my taste, but if you’re a matcha lover, you might enjoy it!
🥧 Hokkaido Tart – A good alternative if you want something different from the matcha tart.
🍙 Spam Musubi – I liked that it came with pickled radish, which added a nice crunch and extra texture. Otherwise, it was pretty similar to a regular Spam musubi, with a thinner slice of Spam.
💚 Overall: Half sugar is the way to go for the drinks if you prefer just the right amount of sweetness. Keep the tarts chilled for a better texture, and the pickled radish is a nice little touch to the Spam Musubi!
A nice spot to try if you’re craving matcha drinks and Japanese-inspired treats. 🍵✨ Very happy it opened in Campbell, I need not travel far to get it.
