I ordered Cajun Fried Rice, 1 Qt Gumbo (2 Proteins), with a side of white rice.
I didnt receive utensils. I ordered this to be delivered to my workplace. So it was a chore to find a spoon.
I liked that the okra in the gumbo wasn't slimy. I requested crawfish and there was a heaping amount for every spoonful. The roux base was thin and bland though.
The fried rice was hot and steamy when I received my delivery. The ratio of chicken, shrimp and sausage to rice was perfect. But the spice level was a little too much heat and the overall rice was heavily peppered. I had to take several breaks to get through about a quarter of the meal before I gave up.
The white rice that came with the gumbo tasted like Uncle Ben's or Minute rice - definitely not long grain jasmine rice. I ordered late, so I wasnt surprised to see specks of burnt rice mixed in - must have been scraped from the bottom of the pot. I fed it to my pet goose because it didn't taste good at all.

Shrimp is overcooked sausage is old. This is horrible. The shrimp look like paste.

I am extremely disappointed with this order because other orders from this store hav been excellenr. Both the fish and shrimp were greasy and fried too hard. The coleslaw was bland. I did not enjoy it at all.

The food taste old. White spots all on my mussels. Shrimp wasn't cooked all the way. And my crab legs was rubbery. They did a better job last time I went here.
