The Special Wonton Soup is my favorite wonton soup from any of the local places in media, I've tried them all... and the Peking Scallion Pancake are always fluffy and not super dense, which is just the way I like it (compared to the other local places who are inconsistent in making them). Two of my favorite things to order from here when I need some comfort food. I'm miss when Margaret Quos was on Main Street in Media...

I just feel like the depth of flavor was lacking and rather overhyped. But I also will give this restaurant its flowers. Doing legit traditional Chinese food with some Chinese American additions I was very proud and amazed to see. I will be going back to this place but as a sit down NOT takeout. I just feel like takeout orders are always rushed, never prepared properly, the steam from the packaging always ruins the crisp on the General Tsao's Chicken. It is my fault for ordering to-go but this place is definitely a sit down only. You will get more out of the experience.
Although, I truly feel that some dishes needed more depth of flavor. Dan Dan Noodles were a joke; don't waste your money. It's inauthentic, noodles were overcooked, wrong type of noodles, not enough sesame, no flavor, and overall lacked an and all fragrance. Needs to be taken off menu.
Peking Scallion Pancake I enjoyed but my wife disliked. Personal preference they were good with the Lion's Head South of the Yangtze Style.
Shanghai Spring Roll was something I wish I never ordered. not enough filling, crisp although watery on the inside, possibly due to the cabbage not being drained of its water enough. Also lacked seasoning. Dipping sauce was good.
Wonton Soup was good and tasted balance with a lot of umami-savoriness
Lion's Head South of the Yangtze Style was an amazing cultural touch. Tad undercooked and needed to be cooked longer but the sauce was delicious I loved the dish and the cultural significance.
General Tsao's Chicken definitely good but better in restaurant. Not going to give a rating on something that was ruined by to-go services. Not anyones fault but my own. Never ordered fried food to go. Feel dumb for that one. It is good though.
give Margaret's a try it was good and it offers traditional northern Chinese cuisine with some Sichuan influences. Can't wait to go back and update my review.

The wonton soup and Special Wonton Soup are the best on the area... thisbos coming from a business traveler who has traveled every week for the past 30 years...
I've had better, but their version is solid and healthy and doesn't have filler, wontons are thin with a good amount of filling, as opposed to thick wrapper and little filling.

Fried Rice was very good, but portion size was far too small for the price they charge. Because of this, I'll probably not order from them again.

$15 for five of the smallest spare ribs I've ever seen. You should be ashamed of yourself for charging so much. Mediocre sauce as well...zero stars
