Sandwiches are always great and as ordered. Today I can only get on sliced bread, I prefer sour dough rolls but hopefully it will still be GREAT!

I placed an Easter Sunday breakfast pickup order from the Safeway deli through DoorDash.
My family members, who were already on their way to visit, stopped to pick it up for us. My elderly, handicapped parents went inside with the DoorDash receipt and the screen that says “show this to staff,” confirming the order had already been paid for.
The deli staff refused to release the order for more than 10 minutes, incorrectly insisting that a Dasher would be arriving later and that giving the order to my parents would violate their rules. I got on the phone directly with the staff and explained multiple times that this was a customer pickup order, not a delivery order, but they remained rude and continued repeating the same incorrect explanation.
They also attempted to charge my parents a second time in store for an order that had already been paid for through DoorDash.
The interaction became even more upsetting when the manager came over, rolled their eyes several times during the conversation, and my elderly parents left the store extremely stressed.
On top of the pickup issue, the food quality was also poor. The breakfast burritos contained barely any egg and were mostly tortilla, to the point that I had to cook additional eggs at home so my family could eat breakfast.
I would like this issue documented as both a merchant training problem on DoorDash pickup procedures and a food quality issue, and I would appreciate an appropriate refund or credit.

all the BBQ Chicken Wings was burnt. I don't know who made it on Oct 29th between 1pm and 2:30pm but the chicken was horribly overcooked and dry. the JoJo Potato Wedges barely pass as edible but I'm appalled at the condition of the chicken and that it was actually sold.
