Come on!! 😋 I haven't ordered from A&R Barbecue in a year or so, and let me tell you I was not disappointed. The rib tip plate was excellent! Generous with all the food, I had the coleslaw and beans for the sides with two slices of white bread. Everything was just delicious. Great smoky flavor, moist, sauce was not too sweet, not to zesty. I got the mild sauce. I'm just really happy with this order, normally I'm just really disappointed with some of the things I order from other restaurants, but this, well done A&R Barbecue. 😄 Oh and the picture they have of the rib tip plate looks just like that when you receive it. your belly will thank you.

The Beef Nachos presentation was different but I can't knock it since it meant my chips would not be soggy by the time it arrived. Everything was individually packed for you to add on top. $19 was kind of steep for it but it was a decent portion. The Hot Tamales (Beef ) were really good. Not too salty or too spicy. Really reminded me of my childhood. Would order again!

They never miss! Wonderfully flavored! Large portion for price always piping hot. Rib Tip PlateDouble CheeseburgerFrench Fries silverware always added along with proper condiments! Burger was eaten before photo was take by another patron😜

I love A&R, their food is amazing and I think it's reasonably priced adjusting for today's inflation. I just want to say do NOT order near closing time. They gave me the smallest portion of fries I've ever seen, my burger was sloppily made and worst of all, I ordered a Lemon Cake, they sent some kind of white cake, did not call or anything to ask if I was okay with a replacement. I'm sure this was a personnel issue more than anything, Saturday night, ready to go home, I get it.
I will definitely order again, I'm positive this was a one off, I just wanted to let people know to not order near closing time. The food is always amazing, always fresh, and they give very generous portions.

Rib tip plate bbeans, spaghetti, brisket plate bbeans, corn on cob,
okra, pecan pie, peach cobblers
rib tips kind of tough but huge amount and were tasty, spaghetti pretty good and pasta not soggy, okra soggy breading fell off (I suggest changing breading to plain corn meal as okra is very liquid.) Brisket plate, bbeans, corn all good. From the bazillion bbq places we’ve eaten at they’re the only bbq sauce I’ve liked. May try hot next time.Everything was hot temp but we only live 1.5 from restaurant so didn’t cool off. Peach cobbler ok, but more crust than fruit but tastes good needs vanilla ice cream lol. Hubs liked pecan pie and he’s picky about pecan pie. Overall we’d order again.
