Located in Historic downtown Newton just off the main strip. Open seating with a central wood burning fireplace in the winter, and a beautiful outdoor covered patio next to our relaxing water fountain…
Two things I enjoy are Quesabirria tacos and Chile Rellenos. The Quesatacos are awesome! I chose the barbacoa with the Consommé.
I'm sorry I ate them too fast to take a picture!
I have also had their Chile Relleno dinner equally great. I come from out of town so I am always glad to have food from here.

We ordered the Chips & Salsa along with the Large Queso Blanco for part of a pot luck. I was disappointed that the salsa(s) came in a small 1oz container and the queso was in a small 3oz container. We also got one bag of chips that was only half full. The price was $14.00+. I will not order from here again.

The shrimp were awful very rubbery and so hot I could hardly eat them, the pico was so old and brown my whole house reeked of old onions because of it rice was dry and all of the plate was very cold... the tamarindo drink was nasty and only came in a 20oz cup for $3.50. The flan was store bought and didnt have much of a flavor I cant believe I spent $35 on this meal lets not forget the tortillas were so stuck to the paper they were wrapped in and to each other I couldnt even get decent sized pieces off of them never again what a disappointment and waste of money

Chips were fresh, but also hot enough to burn through the styrofoam container (paper bag suggested). Salsa was plain and watery. Beans were good. Guac was good, but the "mini" portion is not worth the price. The sour cream and shredded cheese were both missing from the order. Ended up paying extra for diced onion, which is fine, door dash contacted me, and I approved it. It just added to my disappointment and overall poor experience with this restaurant.

Portion size was good. But the Pepsi did not taste fresh, smelled like mildew and was flat. Chips & Salsa were good. But the Chimichanga was not fried. I do not think I would order again.
