as a puerto rican, i feel like i can expertly judge the food, and i would give it a solid 8/10, only because it wasn't cooked at home by my abuelo.
Rice is cooked perfectly, the Pernil is soft and shredded nicely. the portions in one could easily feed 2 people (but i definitely ate it alone)
tostones were fried well, and through.
amarillos were perfect. 10/10 i could have ordered only this and been satisfied.
beef pastelillo was well made, had a decent amount of beef within the pastry.
can't go wrong with a Coke as the 16 oz drink

I added the avocado and cucumber slices, but this plate was amazing even without it, and big portions. Pernil arroz con gandules was fresh and nicely seasoned. Sweet Plantains was a MUST side order, and enough for two portions. Definitely gave me a home NYC feeling. Found a new favorite.

They didn't have the Chuleta Frita, Arroz, Habichuelas Plate but surpassed my expectations with a substitution of Carne Frita and it was DELICIOUS! Cannot recommend them enough! Tostones are always fried to perfection

Bendiciones a todos this restaurant never disappoints. This is my go to place for Authentic Puerto Rican food. The Canoa De Amarillo Relleno De Carne Molid Aplate was everything I needed and was a great portion size. Bless!

This has become one of my regular places to eat everything is always delicious I had the Carne Guisada Arroz, Habichuelas Y Ensalada Plate and the TOS tones it hit every single spot! Everything was made and packaged to perfection.
