We catered food for 40 people from Amoo’s Restaurant, and it was outstanding! The chicken kebab, tender lamb, and world-class koobideh came in neatly packed trays — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Amoo’s is on another level. Family-owned, over 27 years in business, and truly the best Persian food around. Highly recommended!

I recently tried Amoo’s restaurant and was blown away by the deliciousness of their food! The ground beef patty sandwich was tender and flavorful. The family platter with chicken, lamb, and beef kebabs exceeded all our expectations. This restaurant truly delivers authentic, flavorful, and juicy food. It's easily a five-star dining experience!

Amazing Persian Cuisine at Amoo’s Restaurant
Amoo’s Restaurant is hands-down the best Persian food in Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. area! I recently ordered a large family carry-out, and everything was packed in generous, family-style containers. The chicken, lamb, and ground beef were all perfectly tender—each bite practically melted in my mouth. My entire family loved it, and our friends who were visiting couldn’t stop raving about the flavors. Thanks to this wonderful experience, I’m confident they’ll be regulars at Amoo’s from now on. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Persian cuisine!

Typically for a family platter I would expect it to comfortably feed 3 to 4 people. This came with three total skewers which is not really enough for 3 people to have some of each skewer. It came with a lot of rice, but for a $60 family meal I would expect 2 skewers per person so like 6-8 total. That's 8-10 dollars per skewer which is enough for the restaurant to still make a very healthy profit. The food itself was reasonably good, but I would not consider this a family platter.

Amoos is one of the best to do it. Phenomenal flavor and quality. Only notes are that for the Paneer Sabzi Plate, I did feel skimped on the cheese and the pita bread was a teeny bit tough maybe because it was toasted before it got here. Saffron chicken kabobs melted in my mouth and Fesenjān was A. Highly recommend.
