Anantara is one of our favorite Indian restaurants - they make very classic tasting South Indian food from Kerala. Were from Kerala and even family who visits us from Kerala absolutely love Anantara. We love it so much, we end up doordashing it on evenings we're missing traditional home cooked foods. Our favorites are Grandmas goat curry, Lamb Chukka, jackfruit cutlet, and karuveppilai shrimp (amazing). Their appams, parottas and dosas are very well made. Honestly, we haven't tried the biriyani yet (even though it's supposed to be amazing) because we can't help but order our favorites over and over again.

Tiniest of portion sizes, very expensive and the taste is just ok, no consistency of taste between what they serve in the restaurant as against takeout. Nethili Fry was barely enough for one person, extremely overpriced, better off ordering from Other south indian restaurants for half the price

I am a huge fan of anantara. Their south indian food is authentic, and I've placed multiple orders from this store, even though the prices are on the higher side. I was v disappointed by my dinner tonight - the Black Pepper Chicken was so bitter and inedible - they added too much cardamom, the Mango lassi was lukewarm - no nuts? I expect the best if I am paying $25 for a curry. :( please do better.

Everything was delicious and traveled well. The Karaikudi Chicken Curry was full of flavor and well seasoned. The sides were very tasty too.

I ordered the Grandma's Goat Curry and it was very good , 10/10. The flavor & the meat quality very tender & good quantity. It tasted fresh , I would definitely order it again & I would be trying their other items on the menu next time.
