Great food, great staff, always fresh and consistent. Amazing portions for the price. My second time going since being in LA and it's def going to be one of my favorites. Great Mac, Yams, Catfish, Greens, Cornbread Bites, etc. Just so good.

More than worth the hype. Food reminded me of my Granny & Big Momma cooking. Price was really good for all the food I got & the proportions were more than enough. I'd recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic southern based soul food.

The Fried Catfish Combo was so flavorful and delicious. Not to mention a huge amount for the price. Satisfied my soul food craving and left me craving to order from them again!

I'm really bummed because I wanted to like and support this place so much. I've even ordered THREE TIMES thinking maybe it was just a bad day? But...unfortunately everything taste so generic and canned. It's bland and insanely over priced for the quality and amount of food you're getting. Just go to Inglewood and get some real soul food. Sadly, this just isn't it.

Getting right to it: all my sides were delicious and plentiful. The food just looked a little too perfect ( I wonder how healthy it was for me)
I was disappointed with the fried catfish.
The price for the portions was well balanced, even bigger than expected. Unfortunately I felt the fried catfish wasn't up to par. It was like a thin piece of wet white cardboard between blandish seasoned fried bread. I'm sorry, but I must be honest. It was takeout and package very well for travel. Oh wait The peach cobbler was fantastic FANTASTIC!!
