I was actually shocked by how good my food was. Everything was carefully put together and nicely presented - and so delicious. I have ordered pasta from quite a few different restaurants in various different meals, and I'm usually disappointed. So I honestly wasn't expecting much, but the chicken penne from Applebees was fantastic. The pasta wasn't overcooked, the sauce wasn't too salty or overwhelmingly cheesy, the chicken was perfectly done (and there was a lot of it). I'm amazed.
The appetizer and dessert were both delicious too, and I would order any of the three things we got again. The pasta though... Just. So. Good.

Food was great as a whole. The Chicken Wonton Tacos stole the show. They were outstanding! (Im. gonna need that recipe) The steaks were a little tuff but were doable. I also ordered a bunch of extras that were modified from the orignal menu item. Everything I changed or added was correct and packaged very well. I would definitely order again.

I ordered a medium-rare steak, but it showed up very well-done—apparently it misunderstood the assignment. The broccoli was still crunchier than expected, topped with cheese that never got the memo to melt. I also paid $12.99 for the extra shrimp topper on both steaks, but the shrimp must’ve taken the night off because they never arrived. Between the overcooked steak, undercooked sides, and missing (but still charged) add-ons, this meal was a pretty big miss.

I was a little bit disappointed in my selection! The rice was a little dry and the chicken was just ok! This was a favorite of mine back years ago but it has changed! I will probably try it again to see if it was just an off day!
