GREAT FOOD
The Prime Rib Dipper was extremely good. Prime rib had a nice char as well as the onions. Bread was still hit and crusty. Cheese was melted perfectly. Au jus was seasoned nicely.
Grilled Chicken Caesar was very good. Grilled chicken was grilled with just the right amount of chat. Greens were crispy and Ceasar dressing was tangy and flavorful.
Chicken Wonton Tacos everyone should try these! Grilled chicken with slightly spicy sauce. The shell portion was fried and had great crunch.

GOT RIPPED OFF: For the price we paid for oriental chicken salad to get 1/2 of a plastic container was very disappointing and a rip off. I have ordered this salad many times from my home Applebees and was pleasantly pleased. So disappointed in the Surprise, AZ location.

Ordered medium, steak was past medium well, closer to well done. Seasoning was very good though, so while it was over cooked it was delicious. Garlic potatoes were very good, and paired well with the steak seasoning. Coleslaw was quite tasty, but a very small portion.
Overall it was a very good dish for a great price.

Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time I have ordered, and the order was incorrect. I paid 12.09 for the Sweet Tea - Serves 6-8 and received a cup of unsweetened tea. My daughter said it was supposed to be more and the girl said No.....and that was it. She is not one to argue but at least look at the receipt before you say no. It's a long drive to pick up food. These mistakes cost me more money.

I ordered the bourbon street steak medium which is supposed to have a lot of pink in the middle. There was no pink. It was well done, chewy, and underseasoned. It didn't come with a lot of the tasty sauce that you normally get. The garlic mashed potatoes side was very good but was a small portion. My daughter's steak was only slightly overcooked but it was chewy. My order was on Father's Day June 19, 2022 at 11:19 am so Applebees can figure out which chef needs training. Sometimes Applebees has the best steaks but it's so inconsistent I rarely chance it anymore.
