Maybe our order is somehow an outliner. The meat, beef and pork, from rice plate and vermicelli, respectively, was chewy/tough. The tastes of meat and fish sauce were quite off, too, at least pretty bad to my personal like. It took me by surprise that the pictures of the dishes looked all okay but the taste of each kind of dishes, rice plate, vermicelli, and sandwich, was actually so, again, off. Well, the pickled carrot and daikon radish were decent. Of course, I have not been to Vietnam to "calibrate" my taste buds. However, I am saying that based on my years' experiences from Vietnamese restaurants in San Jose, CA, where one of the largest Vietnamese communities, if not the largest, is located. So, I think it is pretty safe to claim I am pretty familiar with the typical profiles of Vietnamese food.

The best addition to our neighborhood - couldn't love this place more. The food is fresh, flavorful and the portions are satisfying.

I was not a fan of the Beef Pho. It was oddly sweet, oily, meat was tough and had a smell, and the noodles were thicker and more slippery than your standard pho rice noodles. I wouldn't order this again from here.
