The tuna tataki is excellent, very tender, a perfect example of what tuna tataki should be, and beautifully presented! I even remembered to take a pic before I ate it and destroyed the beautiful presentation.
The Korean sizzling steak is wonderfully flavorful and wonderfully tender. I used it as a side dish, no rice, and managed to nibble at it for three meals. It remained tender, and got even more flavorful as the beef marinated... I am sure the chef cringes at my use of this terrific dish for three meals, but the sauce makes a terrific marinade!
The steamed dumplings were very good(probably the most generous serving of the ground pork filling I've ever had in a dumpling). The serving of six might lead one to think that these would be small...they are good-sized and with soup or a salad would easily make a satisfying meal for me. I am not a heavy eater, and I know that would be on the small side for my husband. I mention this anyway for the sake of those like me who prefer to err on the lighter side!
All in all, I have a new favorite restaurant to add to my favorite Thai restaurant. Basil seems to have good exemplars from a number of Asian cuisines. (And we are working at trying them all!)

Please add a white meat substitution to checkout. That was some of the best General Tso's Chicken I've ever had. The food was fantastic and comes in a very appealing packaging. The whole thing looked and tasted elevated. Thank you to the very helpful and respectful person who answered the phone @5:25 on 1/19 who helped me place the order with a white meat substitution. I'll be back

The Korean Sizzling Steak is excellent: nicely sweet and with that characteristic Korean bbq flavor. Weird to say, it I can tolerate only small amounts of onion---even when it's well-cooked, as it is in this case. So, for me, the challenge was to enjoy the beef while avoiding the onion. There is a generous portion of beef here, but an equally generous portion of onion! I removed a lot of onion. Mentioned that because there are others like me out there.... The beef was still really good.
As for the Tuna Tataki, it was beautifully prepared and arranged, the nicest I've ever had. I really appreciated that someone took the time to include a generous serving of cucumber and the art with which the cucumber was arranged. The tuna was extremely tender, and beautifully cut. I requested extra pickled ginger, and it appeared that I got it. The tuna was fresh and flavoful . The cucumber was also fresh and provided a nice crunchy counterpoint to the tuna.
Since I frequently get the tuna tataki as my entree, I especially enjoyed the generous
servings of tuna and cucumber.
The Coconut Spaghetti was for an other member of our party so I cannot review it here. (It smelled good!)

My favorite place to eat in Canton. Every curry I've had is spectacular (and I've had all but the Panang), though the Thai Cashew is my favorite. Great place to order from for delivery or to visit and eat in person. Delivery times are usually quick unless a driver decides to go do multiple deliveries. No complaints about the restaurant whatsoever, though.

Literally the "curry's taste like actual water with no flavor. Barely any sauce either. About 1/4 of what you see from other places. I swore I wouldn't ever come back here post pandemic after 3 other terrible experiences. Shame on me for wanting what this place once was years ago. RIP Spicy Wontons, good flavorful rich curry, & sushi that was consistent.
