Awesome BBQ ribs. So juicy and tender. Love their mac & cheese as well. The fried okra will make any southerner smile. For being a small hole-in-the-wall, this place has big shop flavor! You'll love their mustard based BBQ sauce.

THE FOOD WAS OKAY, BUT MY MAIN CONCERN WAS THAT I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE I PAID. I ORDERED THE 2 MEAT FOR MY HUSBAND AND GOT THE PULL PORK, HASH AND RICE FOR ME. I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE SMALL CUP OF HASH AND RICE I RECEIVED. THE CUP MEASURED AT LEAST 1/4 TO POSSIBLY 1/2 A CUP OF THE MIXTURE. I RECEIVED MORE RICE AND HASH FROM BESSINGERS AND AT A CHEAPER PRICE. I'M ONLY 129 POUNDS AND I FELT IT WASN'T ENOUGH. I ATE IT ALL AND USUALLY WHEN I ORDER FROM BESSINGERS, IT TAKES ME TWO DAYS TO FINISH IT.

overall disappointing experience this time. none of the items tasted the same as previous orders-as if the ingredients were changed, and not for the better. the meatballs were good but it was a smaller serving than previous orders. the bbq ribs were dry and had no sauce/taste. the mac and cheese was too wet, like a cheddar soup consistency; previously the mac and cheese was more formed, like a baked mac and cheese texture. finally, idk why you can choose a double serving of the side choices, but not a double serving of your meat choice-you HAVE to choose 2 different meat choices or forfeit the second meat choice altogether for the same price.

We were blown away with our food. Spare ribs fell off the bone. Pulled pork had the right amount of sweetness. Definitely a new favorite!

The fried smashed potatoes are AMAZING! And as someone who grew up around here and watched all of our older bbq places go downhill under new mgmt, I'm glad to have a place that still has traditional BBQ!
