we love the grilled Grilled Cajun Catfish ! Two filets per meal means it goes far. Always tastes good, and well cooked.

A real rare treat for us to spend this kind of money for a meal. 2 entrees and carrot cake. We paid $12 each for the 2 pieces of carrot cake, which is the best carrot cake in town. Sadly, we did not receive carrot cake, they subbed this dark chocolate cake instead. We don't even like chocolate cake. $25 worth of cake. I tried, but couldn't eat it. Way too rich, gross really. I've seen in reviews that Black Eyed Pea does this without warning, like they did to us.
We spent $75 for this meal. SEVENTY FIVE. I'll never order from Black Eyed Pea again. This is a crappy, shady thing to do.

I'd say overall the food isn't bad for what it is, though the peas that came as my side for the meal were EXTREMELY salty and inedible and I wish the cobbler was crispier. It tasted more like a dense cake with cherries on top.

Ordered pot roast and fried shrimp. They put the "crispy fried shrimp" on the pot roast in a three compartment container. The shrimp are soaked in pot roast juice and completely soggy and inedible. I don't understand why the shrimp wasn't in one compartment by itself and the pot roast and the potatoes together. Not sure if I want to order from here again if the staff have no concept of food preparation.
