Brenda’s Oakland is my absolute favorite breakfast place ( their lunches are awesome as well!) they really go the extra mile when it comes to packing their food for delivery. I love ordering various sides and sauces along with my main dishes. My toddler just discovered grits, and Brenda‘s are her favorite! oh, and the fried chicken, amazing!mmm… and the biscuits, I always get an extra one❤️

Now this is soul food !!! Fish was flavorful and crispy. All my sides were nice sized portions. Mac n cheese creamy and has flavor beyond just cheese. Usually not a fan of others mac n cheese- this surprised me. Yams were ok. Greens were really good. All food came fresh and hot. Def willl order again.

Ordered lunch for a group of 7 (Doordash). Everything arrived fresh, warm, and fast. Order: Ube Beignets (the crowd favorite) Original Beignet (nothing "plain" about them!) , Boneless Thigh Side, Two Piece Dark, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Mac & Cheese, Bok Bok Oink, and Watermelon Sweet Tea. Definitely 5 stars. Taste just like the first time I tried Brenda's Oakland in 2019.

HUGE Plain Beignets Order. You get three for an incredible price. They're warm, fluffy, and very delicious. I'm going to order again and try their other flavors too.

Cheesy grits to buttered perfection and tasty breakfast as well! I've only ever eaten in person and was skeptical on how it would be packed for long distance delivery! 10/10!
