• 6/30/24absolutely amazing! my son encouraged me to try Etheopian food. I fell in love! the collards are tasty, the cabbage was crisp and succulent. The lentils and the chicken peas were spiced it perfectly! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

• 7/4/25Before and after! I ate everything on my plate! lol.The gomen and shiro were excellent. I like gluten-free teft injera. In Tucson, everyone charges you extra for it. The teft injera is really good here! I do not eat meetn so the Veggie plate is always my go to! Thank you for the delicious food!Individual

• 8/4/25this place is amazing. we got the Vegan Signature Plate , and it was played in a fantastic manner and was delicious (served classically on top ofa piece of injera). it was a little mild for my tastes, but I suspect there is a way to request higher spice levels.
The Shorba was also universally loved, and a strong recommendation.
portions are large, we couldn't finish everything on our order.
I will definitely ordering from here again.

• 12/5/25I got the Individual dish with 3 vegan entrees. Portion size was great. Everything was fresh, warm, and delicious. The customer service was also excellent when I picked it up. I'll definitely stop there again next time I drive through Tucson. Friendly faces and great food.

• 8/17/25I received the dark brown teft injera substitute the past two orders. I am now a happy customer again and recommend Cafe Desta. Today I had gomen, shiro and lamb! Usually I get all veggies. The food was very tasty.
