I order from here once a week and the fish is always crunchy and delicious. The 5 Butterfly Shrimp has also been good each time. A lot of the reviews are old, but Captain D's delivers great quality fish and shrimp.

The Popcorn Shrimp & Fish Meal was ok the shrimp was good the fish was not at all. The 5 Piece Butterfly Shrimp was definitely not fresh. The 4 Piece Chicken Meal was good I was told except we ordered double fries and there was barely a single order of fries in the box. This location is very hit or miss. Especially if you order during a time where food isn't having to be mad fresh because of being busy.

Fish was fishy and soggy. Not crunchy at all. It was slighly off color and it white. Didn't like the fish at all. The stuffed crab shell was fishy tasting mush stuffed into shell. Would not order again. The fried shrimp was tender and crisp. Best thing I ordered. Would get again. The fried shrimp is recommended!

I was disappointed in the quality of everything in my meal this time. The fish was obviously cooked in oil that needed to be changed out as it was covered in old, dark pieces of batter, the fries were cold and mushy and the fried okra was borderline disgusting. I wish I could say the delivery time could have caused it, but from the time I ordered it to delivery to my door, it was less than 15 minutes. I am usually a huge Captain D's fan and order it frequently, and this time the only positive I can say is that the tartar sauce was cold.

chicken was over cooked and hard and the hush puppies tasted like donuts, I'm assuming they used the same oil from the funnel cakes for the hush puppies.
