• 6/13/24The Carne #12 Carne Asada Dinner Entree was exceptional. Upon first looking at the rice and beans, you "may" feel cheated. BUT, in reality, it is all we need. The carne asada was more than enough for the average person. Flavor 11. The meat was cooked a teeny tiny bit too long, maybe... for me. A couple of large gristle pieces, but nothing you would not expect, and still incredibly delicious and tender! Service exceptional. Very speedy. No matter the small and insignificant things, I'd still state this as a top 3 in Simi Valley!

• 9/24/24Classic Burrito made wet with added sauce. I didn't know this option didn't come with beans and rice on the side which is a bummer, but the burrito was fantastic. No complaints about flavor or texture, just a good BIG burrito.

• 6/25/26I was going to order tamales de puerco but they were out. I substituted the rajas and was not disappointed. Very flavorful with a little kick. The bunuelos were great and even the chips and Molcajete salsa (mild)was very flavorful. Beans and rice are always good. Great dinner when you're running short on time.

• 12/10/24I was shocked at the horrible quality of food from Carrillos! I have been eating here for years, but today was WAY OFF. The rice is COMPLETELY raw, as in extremely hard grains of uncooked rice and the carnitas are as dry as leather with ZERO flavor! What an absolute disappointment and waste of money!
