Ordered from Charles Pan -Fried Chicken for the second time this week. This time, I had their turkey wings smothered in gravy, along with collards, okra, and cornbread. The wings were pleasantly huge and the food was flavorful and tasty. Everything was enjoyable, and I highly recommend this place.

I got the combo plate for me and my partner and the Pan Fried Chicken (3 Pieces) was delivered perfectly with all the best sides. We got the collard greens, yams, potato salad, and the baked mac and cheese. Came with cornbread 10/10!!

Mac and cheese very dry not a lot of flavor, it was a pretty good portion though. the cornbread was also incredibly dry. Rack of ribs were falling off the bone, just needed way more BBQ sauce. I would definitely try every other soul food restaurant in the city before ordering this again.

The Smothered Turkey Wings was the star of the show me and my husband enjoyed those and the gravy. The Mac &cheese was ok but it was dry and could have been more cheesy. The collard greens were ok but no meat in them but I guess. The Smothered Chicken (3 Pcs) was gelatinous, I ended up having to just pick out the white meat off the and throw everything else away as it was a soggy gelatinous unseasoned mess! Just completely unnecessary to smother anything that much. Probably would just order the turkey wings and the juices again Southern PunchHomemade Sweet Tea (16 Oz) nothing else. Overall experience 6.8 out of 10

Smothered Chicken (3 Pcs) w collard greens and white rice. GREAT portions, meat was flavorful but poor cuts. All bone, no meat just all covered in gravy. Greens were good once you add hot sauce , never got my cornbread though. 7/10 would get again but probably only in person
