This plate was AMAZING OXTAIL DINNER perfectly seasoned and tender along side with the cabbage, the portion size was great for its price. Cornbread ? 10/10 definitely would order again !

this food is always hot... fresh... delicious... put me to sleep. I'll be back but yeah portions are big too.SMOTHERED RIB DINNER worth it RED VELVET BANANA PUDDING worth even though was just normal banana pudding not red velvet.

I am not lying. The best soul food in lake Charles . Not only do they give you amazing portions, the flavor, the freshness unbeatable. The beef tips . Tasted like the best rice and gravy I ever had. They know what seasonings to put really, the fish amazing, the pasta hot, the BACON RANCH FRIES wow idk what else to say . I will keep coming back

The beans and rice *chef's kiss* PERFECTION! The seasonings was so flavorful! The Mac n cheese was gooood! And the yams...the yams!! Sooo good! 10s across the board! Oh and the cornbread tasted so warm and fluffy! Tastes like everything was made with LOVE! I WILL be ordering from here again! Next time... oxtails :)

I tried to call over 20 times. I receivedn4 pieces of meat and a bowl full of rice for BEEF TIP BOWL. I also ordered the Okra bowl and was 1 spoonful of okra mash on top of(again) white rice. They have the phone off of the hook, with over45 minutes left befoe they close.$28+ tip+ fees... certainlynot worth $30 fo what you get.
