In July of 2014, Paula Brown opened up Cocoa’s Authentic Caribbean Jerk in the town of Lexington Park, Maryland. Since then our restaurant has excelled in making authentic Caribbean food. Stop by soon…
This meal was delicious so much better than the other Caribbean restaurants that I've tried. The oxtail was flavorful and the portion size was very good for the value. Cocoas is now my favorite

There was more meat than rice and peas. No balance. The plantains are thumb sized. The Cocoa Bread was absolutely not that, it is the grocery store brand. The cabbage was overcooked.
Our second and last time ordering from them.

The Curry Goat had 4 large pieces in it. The presentation was horrible, and the rice was soaking with gravy, and I couldn't eat it. In fact, gravy was everywhere. The Curry Goat was tough, hard to chew, and seemed undercooked. The cabbage was even worse. Goat meat should be chopped small and succulent when cooked. This was an absolute disappointment. For $25.99, the portion was so small, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. Everything went in the garbage. 0 out of 10, do not recommend!
